New Year's Renewal

If I were to make a New Year resolution - I like to call it New Year's Renewal - it would be to have a deeper commitment, a deeper love, and a deeper worship for the Lord. In the beginning of this past year, He spoke to me in that still small voice in prayer and said, "I am more than enough. I am more than enough in every area of your life." He also said to tell others the same thing....because HE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

With 2014 knocking on our door, I've heard a number of people express immeasurable gratitude over the current year's end, but I'm not so sure I'm among the many ecstatic future goers. I'm happy to be starting a new year and chapter in life, but I'm not in some zealous hurry to jump across the line into 2014. I guess 2013 just hasn't been so bad that I'm in a mad dash to leave it all behind. On the other hand, it has had moments that were so painful I didn't think I could cope, from my long struggle with health issues and many, many doctors visits, to my husband's job loss. This part of the year was bleak, but not without hope for greater things to come. ✞

2013 was actually a blessed year, one that contained more good than bad, greater love than pain, and increased hope and trust in God. I'm okay that it's coming to a close, but I guess I'm thankful for what it brought.

Check out the story on Circulation Nation of Simpsonville in the Therapy Spotlight of the January edition of Natural Awakenings. (page 19)

Each of us has many black dots or spots in our life, and we cannot understand why they are there or why God permitted them. But when we allow Him into our life to adjust the dots in the proper way, to draw the lines He desires, and to put resets at the proper places to seperate us from certain things, then from the black dots and spots He will compose a glorious harmony. Trust Him! He is faithful!

The Presence of Jesus Christ in your life will change the outcome each and every time without fail. There is not one thing that this earth has to offer that is better than the favor that is found in His Presence. You can spend thousands of dollars looking for a cure for a disease when in an instant God can heal your body for free. A man can spend his entire life securing fame and fortune and die with a bankrupt soul only to be tormented for Eternity. Matthew 8:36 – “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”

As we ring in 2014, if we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can rest in the truth that God is going to bring about the best for our lives no matter OUR plan.

Wishing you many blessings in 2014!

Worry vs Trust

The competition for our concentration: Worry vs Trust. Worry wastes life: It never solves problems, and it dissolves energy and time. Again, it never extends life. Worry never hurries answers. It falsely gives one a feeling of "doing" something. Yet it never does!
Let go of worrying; worrying is like praying for what you don’t want. Worry never wins. Trusting God never fails!

Today, let's weed out worry and plant trust in Jesus.

From Mess To Masterpiece

God is at work behind the scenes.

Maybe today, you are doubting that God can make a masterpiece out of your mess, that nothing good can come out of it. Our disbelief doesn't affect Him, it affects us. Trusting God is not always easy, but I make the choice to trust Him no matter the outcome in this life. He NEVER stops being faithful no matter how bad it gets.

Let me reassure you that, at this very moment, He is at work. He is crossing t’s and dotting the i’s in your story too! God never sends you where He's never been.

The Wonders Of Heaven

I love Christmas time! All the thrill and wonder and coziness of this time of year are amplified in the sparking eyes of delighted children. I can hardly wait to dazzle my boys with the next Christmas surprise. I've been reflecting how much similarity this bears to the kind of joy God will have as He surprises us with the wonders of Heaven.

Bringing Glory To My King

If you pray to be used by God, you better believe He's going to answer.

am so very thankful for the opportunity to minister through Facebook, Twitter and my book, which will be published in late 2014. I have discovered that if God calls me out, He will give me the strength to go and do.

God reminds me everyday that it's not me that does the work - it's Him. He can use even my simple presence without me doing anything, so we never know when God is using us, even if we're not trying so be alert and ready at all times.

My wants and desires are null in comparison to my life bringing glory to my King. ✞

Praise Is Adoration

Praise releases God's power in our lives like nothing else does.

Praise is adoration! It tells the Lord what we think of Him in the midst of hardship and even on our way out of oppression.

Praise relays confidence that He is doing just as He promised by demonstrating a willingness to wait for Him. Praise is not produced by our circumstances but evidence of our love that is stronger than death. We have every reason to praise Him no matter what we are going through because He is the reason we are making it to the other side.

Jesus is the anchor of our soul that keeps us from going under in the storm.

It is okay to bring our needs before the Lord. But start with praise and adoration and get a sense of the awesomeness of God. The more we realize how great God is, the smaller our problems will become in His presence.

A Baby Changes Everything

The only perfect Christmas was the Christmas Jesus came into our world. I believe that is by God's design. As long as we continue seeking perfection from anyone or anyhthing but the Perfect One, we will never have peace with one another or with ourselves.

We can accept the plainness of our lives and the ordinary town and villages we come from because someone whose affection isn't swayed by glitter, fame, power or cash loves us.

Praying that your life is enriched by the powerful reality of who Jesus is and the sweet gift of His saving grace. Ponder what God's presence means to you this season, my friend. And celebrate with joy!

We Want The Gain Without The Pain

We tend to think 'Life should be fair because God is fair.' But God Is not life. And if we confuse God with the physical reality of life - by expecting constant good health for example - then we are setting ourselves up for crashing disappointment.

The trials of life are sent to make us, not break us. I love how I can look back on the life I have lived so far and point to personal struggles and pains that God has found a way to redeem.

If God places or allows anything difficult in our lives,we can be sure that the real danger of trouble will be what we will lose if we run or rebel against it. - Malthie D. Babcock

The path that Jesus took being born into the world, then living here with us for 33 short years, then dying a painful death, then rising again is an incredible legacy of love.  The inconvenience of coming, the struggles He went through, the tremendous pain He endured…all for us.

So why do we think we deserve the gain without the pain?

Our Mission Field

Whole Body Vibration is the mission field God has led me and my husband to through my illness. We now own our own Whole Body Vibration Studio.

Interesting article on whole body vibration from a DNM ( Dr. of Natural Medicine) in Canada

December 6, 2013

By Dr. Gail Smolinski, DNM

I think Whole Body Vibration (WBV) exercise is the greatest thing since popcorn! It makes it possible for almost everyone to exercise, even if you’re not able to do other types of exercise.
WBV, ideally, is done by standing on a platform that has two motors – a vibrating motor and an oscillating motor. These motors send mild vibration impulses through the body, up to 50 times per second.
This vibration activates muscle fibers even more efficiently than regular exercise. Research studies have shown that WBV increases bone density in the hip and inhibits bone loss in the spine and hips.
Regular exercise is extremely important to maintain good health! We all know this, but often fail to do it consistently. Excuses include lack of time, the cold weather, the embarrassment of flaunting our bodies in public and the inconvenience of leaving home to exercise. Many of us find it too hard to exercise or just cannot be bothered. We have become couch potatoes and we are paying a huge price in terms of chronic pain, illness, shortened lives and poorer quality of life. It’s time we wake up and literally get off the couch!
What if you could exercise for only 10 minutes a day, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, get an hour’s worth of benefit and find it easy as pie? You don’t even have to change into workout clothes. How simple is that?
WBV has been proven to improve strength, circulation, flexibility and balance. It builds lean muscle mass and increases lymphatic drainage. It is beneficial for rehabilitation because it gets blood and oxygen to the injured cells for repair and maintenance. It does not stress the joints or heart, so elderly people can safely use it as well. People with arthritic pain have been able to eliminate or reduce their level of pain. You can also use it to drop some weight, and to trim and tone your body! Ooo-la-la!
The effects of controlled WBV exercises on overall health in elderly patients were studied at the University of Liege in Belgium. After only six weeks, of exercising for 4 one-minute sessions, 3 times a week, the participants experienced:
• 143% improvement in physical function; 77% improvement in equilibrium (balance); 60% improvement in vitality; 57% improvement in the quality of walking; 41% reduction in pain; 23% improvement in general health.
All this in only 12 minutes a week! Dr. Keith DeOrio, M.D., explains that all your muscles, as well as your internal glands and organs, benefit from WBV. The mechanical stimulation caused by the vibration plate causes the muscle spindles to fire rapidly. This creates a neuromuscular response that leads to physiological changes in your entire body, including the brain.
According to Dr. DeOrio, only 12 minutes of training on a WBV plate is equal to a 1.5 hour traditional workout, using weights!
Since it produces very little stress to your joints, tendons and ligaments, WBV can be an excellent form of exercise for you if you are elderly or have chronic conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia or MS, which would normally limit your ability to exercise.
Also, if you have suffered physical trauma or injury, cellular memories remain in your brain and body tissues even after the injuries have healed. These cellular memories unfortunately impede normal body movement and function. However, WBV stimulation allows your brain and body to remove the cellular memories of trauma and injury, and re-imprint them with positive, healthy information! This allows total healing to occur.
WBV, as simple as it is, benefits athletes as well as beginners. For example, athletes can improve their speed and vertical jump height, while cutting warm-up time in half. It also speeds up cool-down time, since it eliminates lactic acid and pumps oxygen and blood to all tissues for repair.
WBV can be used for your specific and unique needs, whether you must start by sitting on a chair, and placing your feet on the vibration platform, or whether you are sedentary, slightly active, moderately active or already fit and athletic.
Is your health worth 10 minutes of easy as pie exercise a day? I know mine is! Call us for a free demonstration. This column is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.

Whole Body Vibration has definitely helped me recover from my mercury poisoning. I believe WBV is what God is using to heal me and help others.

Dance Before Him

I am so joyful for this season of life that I find myself in. God continues to bless me with miracles everyday! A year and a half ago I woke up one morning to vision loss in one of my eyes. I spent almost a year being evaluated by doctors. There just seemed to be no end. But today, I remember the pit from which I was pulled and am joyful. Things could have turned out so differently. God is the God of the past and the future, but He is also God of the present and that is where I choose to live my life and find my joy! As I think about His everlasting mercy I can't help but begin to dance before Him...perhaps not physically, but certainly in my spirit! ✞

God Never Shuts Down

Remember a few months ago when our government shut down? Before the actual shutdown, the media was transmitting a sense of urge and despair and everyone was concerned about what would happen if an agreement was not reached before midnight.

Think on this: What would happen if God shut down?

I am thankful that even though our government shut down, our God never does!

God is glorious, majestic perfection. He is infinite, without beginning or end or any limitation at all. He is self-existent, not dependent on anyone for anything. He is consistent and unchanging. God is sovereign. He rules over all and is the final cause of all that happens in his universe. He is everywhere and knows everything....For this I am so thankful!

Our Thoughts Are Showing

Our lives tend to imitate the thoughts we entertain most consistently...Our focus brings about our feelings.

If we have an urge to "go negative," remember that doing so cannot produce anything positive. Our emotional life can advance only after our negative thoughts retreat.

Just think, - if we placed our focus more on our spiritual, mental and physical health (the stuff that matters) rather than having the most expensive house, car, clothes, etc. (the stuff that doesn't matter) how much different our lives would be.

Our society seems so grim because we are focusing too much on the negative and the stuff that doesn't matter a hill of beans!!! Yes, we have hundreds of problems, but we also have millions of blessings! Let's choose to focus on the blessings that surround us. ✞

Own Your Joy

Gratitude is a choice. It is a conscious and deliberate decision to focus on life's blessings rather than its shortcomings. When we focus on our blessings, our life feels abundant. When we focus on what's missing, life feels incomplete.

Like everything else in life that's meaningful, practicing gratefulness takes work. For some who have a habit of focusing on the negative, it may take a lot of effort to change their tune. But everyone is capable of being thankful. And when we live it out, we are showing the world that our awesome God is worthy of all our praise and thanks (Psalm 75:1). He is glorified and others are blessed by our gratitude attitude.

Own your joy. Give gratitude a shot. It will change how you view God, others, and yourself.

Our Stories For God's Glory

Our eyes see our faults. Our faith sees our Savior.

Every step of our life's journey is a choice...and the quality of those choices determines the quality of the journey.

Out of disappointments comes direction.

Instead of denying our disappointments, hiding our wounds, rehearsing them, or judging them, we need to accept them as part of our story. There's an old saying that captures this principle well; "You've got to be where you are to get where you are going."

Our uniqueness is determined both by who we are and by who we are not, by abilities as well as our limitations.

Yes, sometimes life is hard. However, we can choose which side of the ache we will stand on. We can always expect God's best because He always gives it. Or we can whine and moan like the rest of the world.

Where our strength ends is the exact point where His will begin. We need God. That's it. When we choose to live this truth, everything else falls into place.

Because God loves us, He rejoices when we experience His power and strength and stand up under the pressure of life for His name's sake.

Trust Him in your trial and don't miss the outcome He has planned.

Who needs to hear your story today? Don’t you dare keep it to yourself.

I am so excited about my book. I can hardly wait to see what God is going to continue to do through my story.

Dalinda

A Willing Heart

The Word teaches us that He came to set the captives free, and at times our first step to freedom is acknowledging that the chains are real, and that we cannot do it on our own.

God wants three things from us:

- Our heart to be willing to change

- Our heart to be willing to be used

- Our heart to be willing to go

Willingness is the key to everything.
Willingness is when miracles start happening in our lives.
Willingness is when incredible doors start to open.

We have no way of knowing just how long and difficult our journey will be. But we also have no way of knowing just how rewarding the journey will turn out to be too.

Some situations are not meant for us to change, but the situations are meant to change us for the better.

Take Him At His Word

God is just waiting for someone to take Him at His Word. He is actively watching to see if anyone will. If we will take His Word and mix it with faith (just believe it to be true), the Bible says that He will perform It. That is what Mary did. That’s what you and I need to do.

God desires for you and me to take Him at His word no matter how unmanageable our situation seems. Why—because nothing is too hard for God. - Micca Campbell

God is trustworthy. We can take him at His word, and believe Him with 100% certainty. We can count on Him to be there for us, even at our lowest moment. How reassuring that is! ✞

He Is The Key To Our Significance

Just take a look around this world we live in, it offers up self-worth solutions at every turn. Sadly, this worldly treasure hunt only produces fools gold. It’s shiny and promising, has the feel of significance, but really it’s worthless.

Satan is in the very lucrative business of answering our desperate want ads and using the very available and equipped world to do it. People can’t make us feel significant and the world can’t make us feel significant. The love of people often increases with performance and decreases with mistakes. Not so with God's love.

Heaven invites us to set the lens of our heart on the heart of our Savior and make Him the object of our life. Because our significance is found in Jesus alone.

Brokenness Is A Tool In The Hand Of God

The photo below was taken Janruary of this year. It shows the inflammation on the right side of my face caused by mercury poisoning from a silver filing (amalgam filing) in my tooth. I lost my peripheral vision in my right eye as a result of the mercury poisoning because it damaged my optic nerve. Six different doctors told me that I would never regain my vision. I am thankful that they were wrong! I have 90% of my vision back and continue to detox daily at our studio, Circulation Nation of Simpsonville. God is so good!!!

We're all broken in one place or another. But when we stay connected to the Vine, He strengthens us so that we may bear fruit-even through our brokenness.✞

Brokenness is a tool in the hand of God.

* It is painful, but God supports and provides the strength we need to keep going.
* Brokenness is a sign of His love and activity in our life. He breaks our self-reliance because He loves us. He knows if we are left on our own, we would yield to pride and selfish feelings.
* Any discipline we experience in times of brokenness is God's way of changing and preparing us for future service. Brokenness stops at the point where our spirit yields to God's will. The moment He senses a true desire within us to obey His Word is when He eases the painfulness.
* God will never allow brokenness to crush us.

God uses brokenness to deepen our understanding in three ways:
* We gain a new perspective of His mercy and provision.
* We have a more complete comprehension of ourselves.
* Our compassion and understanding for others' suffering is developed.
God uses brokenness to reveal our need for Him. We need the fellowship and love of family and friends, but only Jesus Christ can meet all our needs perfectly and completely.
Only Jesus Christ can take our weakness and turn it into strength, hope, and honor.
Will you trust Him to change your life?

Dalinda

Our Greatest Love

What better way to start than at the beginning – the creation of man and woman. One of the things that always stuck out most to me was how God truly provided for Adam. He saw that man was not good alone, and created Eve. It reminds me of how God knows everything about us and provides for us – even a spouse.

In marriage, your partner is also your helpmate and friend that can come alongside you and compliment you.

We have a precious couple in our studio that has been married for 48 years! This is pretty rare this day and time. You can tell that they are still madly in love with one another. He still opens the car door for her. :)

God is love. If you desire to truly love your spouse in a way that is perfect and complete, continue to know God. Seek God daily and allow His love to transform your heart. This will strengthen your understanding of love and your capacity to love in an extraordinary way. God brings other things, other people, into our lives. So that we learn to love Him supremely.

I am thankful for my husband, Jody. I love him dearly, but he is not my Savior; he is my fellow sojourner.

Our marital relationships were never meant to become an Idol. We are to love God above all of the wonderful, amazing blessings He bestows upon us in this life. God does not want to be one of our many loves. He wants to be our greatest love. He wants us to see that even if we have the best of everything in this world, His love is still far better.

Blessings,
Dalinda

So Much More

My life isn’t what I pictured it would be, but it’s better.

As I sit and look back over my life, I can see so many times when God had His hand on me and I didn't even know it!

Trials only mean God is sifting through our life. He sifts what we don't need out, and gives us what we do need.

am thankful that God didn’t give me what I thought I wanted -- He's given me so much more!

One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to realize that God knows us better than we know ourselves.

God has given me so much more than what I deserve. The least I can do is thank Him for it. ✞

The Treasure Within The Trouble

There is enormous positive power in adversity. Adversity is what molds our character. Just as weight training develops our muscles.

Weight training speeds up our metabolism and makes us look and feel better. It makes us stronger and more resilient in the face of accidents and all sorts of trauma. Our physical muscles become stronger when confronted with resistance, and the same is true for the "muscles" in our minds, spirit, and character.

Remember, the presence of tension, conflict, and difficulty indicates that growth is trying to take place. When you view this adversity as natural, normal, and, in fact, even necessary, it empowers you to take advantage of its potential for growth.

Adversity, regardless of its orgin, can be turned to your advantage when you trust God to be bigger, stronger, and more tenacious than anything you ever face.

What A Difference A Year Makes

Even in the darkest times, we should never doubt God. Even when it may appear like our life is over and He has forgotten us, He is actually growing us into our future.

Here is one of my blog posts from around this time last year:

"CHOSEN"
God chose you!

Chosen: God separated you from everyone else to perform a specific task....And God consecrated You for that purpose. Wow! What an awesome thought!

Nothing about us or our circumstances surprises God. He ordained that we should walk in those ways because we are uniquely qualified by Him to do so. He approved us, because He chose us for our specific situation. And He equipped us for every trial and difficulty we will ever face in life. What an awesome God we serve!

THANKFUL.....THANKFUL.....THANKFUL! Today, I am most thankful for "Answered Knee-Mail!" I got my report from my biopsy....NO Lymphoma!!! Another PRAISE GOD! THANK YOU JESUS! Prayer is not something to be taken lightly or used infrequently. Yet, in the rush of daily life, we often lose sight of God's presence. Instead of turning to Him for guidance and comfort, we depend on our own resources. I am thankful that though I focus too much attention on the "real" aka physical world, He is gracious and loving to prompt me again to pour myself more fully into the real world aka spiritual world. We can access His power anywhere. We don't need a wi-fi hotspot or a high-speed modem. We just need to look up. He's connected and waiting. ♥

God made us to fellowship with Him! If that fellowship demands trials for a season, rejoice that God thinks you worthy to share in the sufferings of Christ-and, eventually, in His glory. Praise His holy name! I am thankful to be a part of something so much grander than myself.

Problems that seem insurmountable to us are simply a breath to Him. God holds each one of us in the palm of His hand.

What a difference a year makes! God was actually growing me into my future.

Dalinda

We Become A Product Of What We Are Around Most

As young teens enter adolescence, one of their largest concerns is fitting in. Because of this, young teens might choose friend groups that will help them fit in rather than those that will encourage and support them.

Friends become strong influences on decisions as teens seek greater independence. Friend groups can determine what hobbies, interests, and beliefs he/she adopts.

The older your teen gets, the more his/her friends will shape who he/she becomes. Make sure you know who's doing the shaping. - Jessica Duble

Are your teens closest friends people who honor The Lord with their lives and with their relationships? We want our children to hang out with friends who will make them better. The standard you set for choosing your friends will likely be the same standard your children follow. Choose wisely!

We can't go to a higher ground if we are hanging on to a lower level! - Paula White

Being Christ-Like Doesn't Mean We Let People Run All Over Us

Today, I was grabbing lunch at a local deli and as I was ordering two other sets of people came in after me. You see, you order your food and then find a table. I ordered soup, which is already made and all they have to do is put it into a bowl. As the lady handed me my soup one of the members of each party had jumped in front of me and took the last two tables. I already had my food and their party was still in line to order. People purposely being rude is one of my pet peeves. It was pretty clear from the body language that this was intentional. It was one of the most blatantly unfair, infuriating actions I’ve witnessed in a long time. My temper flared, but I kept my cool and walked over and said “Excuse me, but I already have my food so can I sit here since I was first anyway? …” and one of the three arrogant men said "You can sit with us, we don't bite...We're not moving." So I sat down at their table. I think I shocked the guy that was reserving it for his group because he got up and joined his group ordering while he left his cell phone on the table. Another gentleman saw how rudely they were treating me and quickly finished his lunch so I could move to his table.

While I do know that we Christians are supposed to love our enemies and not seek vengeance out of anger, surely there is some line that can be crossed where you’re not just a pushover. Right?

Would love some thoughts on this. Thanks!

Perspective Is Everything

Sometimes we can't see what's "right" for us when what's "wrong" for us is in the way.

Our perspectives dictate our choices. Our perspectives dictate our attitude. Perspective is everything.

How often in life is beauty right in front of our face and we miss it because we either don’t pause long enough to see it or we don’t take the time to invest in it when we see it.
Think about the beautiful moments and the beautiful people we miss along life’s path because the eyes of heart are closed or too distracted to care.
Because there really is hidden beauty in plain sight.

Our Suffering Means Something

I am thankful for my health. A year ago we weren't sure if I would even be here this year. Looking back over this past year and where God has brought me...my attitude has changed, I trust more...and I'm more willing to wait things out than to act impulsive and quick. Our circumstances aren't always pretty and fun and full of light. Sometimes they're confusing, horrifying and full of unbelievable sadness. But there's ALWAYS a plan and a purpose. Our suffering means something. Keep the faith! ✞

We're The Artwork, God's The Artist

Often we stand at life's crossroads and view what we think is the end. But God has a much bigger vision and He tells us, "Relax my child, it's only a bend.

I had to learn that God would not work as long as I worried, but the moment I trusted Him, He put His plan into action, and through faith and patience, I enjoyed the thrill of watching God work miraculously in my life.

God answers prayer and rebuilds lives. No matter how messy we are, how messy we've been, we are going to be a masterpiece. He sees the masterpiece we can't see yet. We don't have to manipulate our circumstances or try to control the people around us. We just need to do our job as the artwork, and let God be the Artist. The result will be breathtaking.

Our Messiest Moments

Sometimes the messiest moments in our lives turn out to be the most beautiful, the most breathtaking, the most cherished. Our messiest moments can become living testimonies when we let God redeem them.

The ABC's Of Faith

When the sucky parts of life happen, we doubt. But when God gets His hand on them, watch out, amazing things start to happen. He turns our sucky parts of life into blessings. Then, we get to walk with others through their pain and their trials. We get to share our stories of hope. We get to share God’s story of hope. I am not sure there is anything more beautiful in life than that!

The ABC's of Faith: Admit God's ways are greater than ours. Believe His Word. Commit to love Him despite what we don't understand.

Faith is dead to doubt, dumb to discouragement, and blind to impossibilities.

Our Greatest Weakness = God's Greatest Platform

When we put God into the equation we are changing the way we see the situation.

We are to embrace each season of life as an opportunity from God. When the timing is right, he will not fail to move in our lives to put is in a place of maximum influence for His kingdom. Our job is to listen to His voice, obey what we know to be true from His Word, and live our lives in radical service to those He has placed around us.

Since the work itself matters to God, we should give our best to whatever He has called us to do. Our workplace is also His domain. This is why my husband and I try to create a Christian environment by playing Praise And Worship music in our studio.

Our work really does matter to God, and it matters to others, too. Rejoice in that, and do your best for the glory of God.

God always wants to bless us more than we can imagine  - most often using means that we cannot perceive.

God has a mind-blowing plan for each of our lives. Even our everyday activities can take on exceptional meaning and have massive impact. But God's power within us is only potential until we convert it into strength - by faith and action.

Thankful that God uses this willing vessel.

We Meet People For A Reason...Either They're A Blessing Or A Lesson

Strangers can become best friends just as easy as best friends can become strangers.

We need to be aware of those things in our life that might seem like a good thing but really aren’t when we take a closer look. There’s no need to get paranoid about people and situations, but we really do need to take time to evaluate our relationships and our surroundings to make sure they really are what we think they are.

We become like the people we hang around. When it comes to relationships, some are just not good for us and we have to choose to walk away. We aren't rejecting them, they're choosing not to come with us.

Some situations are not meant for you to change, but the situations are meant to change YOU for the better. We meet people for a reason...either they're a blessing or a lesson.
