From A Bigger Perspective

One thing I learned over the past year is how everything is under God’s prerogative. He gives and takes away, He alters schedules and plans, He accomplishes His will whatever it takeseven if it requires parting oceans and sending His own Son to die. He sees things from a bigger perspective and when things do not make sense to us, to Him, everything is happening according to plan.

Sometimes God removes good things from our lives for our good.

In times of suffering, I've learned not to ask for relief, but to ask God to give me what I need to go through what He has allowed into my life and that I would glorify and honor Him in the process. I don't know what I need and I want His will to be done not mine. I trust Him.

It's during hard times that I grow the most. I prefer the good times like everyone, but am not afraid of the hard times because of what I've seen God do.

Being A Blessing Brings You Blessings

Many people fail to enjoy the abundance God has for them because they have an "I'm needy" mindset. I think acting as if God will not meet our needs or doesn't want us to have our needs met is rather insulting to Him. We should compliment Him by believing He is good and by expecting Him to meet our needs according to the promises in His Word.

Fearing we will not have what we need is exactly what Satan wants. We can open the door to his will through fear just as we can open the door to God's will through faith.

My life is not without challenge, but I enjoy a lot more good things than bad ones. When I expected trouble, I often got it. Now that I expect good, I often get that. Sometimes I even get better than what I have hoped for or expected because that's the way God is.

It's been a very productive week for my family, as we are preparing to open our own Whole Body Vibration Studio. When we finished up at the studio today we decided to stop and get something to eat on the way home. As we were finishing up, the waitress came over to our table and told us that another table had taken care of our bill for us. We were pleasantly surprised. What a nice gesture! But why were we surprised because that 's the way God is. God is teaching me to aggressively expect good things to happen in my life. He gives us exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond all that we dare to hope, ask, or think ( see Ephesians 3:20)

I believe if we ALL lived and loved others as Jesus lived and loved others, we would experience more of heaven on earth than hell on earth.

If anyone has ever been sweet or kind or thoughtful to you, try today to "pay it forward."

Be blessed and be a blessing!

God's Glass Slipper Always Fits

Many of us have discovered that when we get our glass slipper, it doesn't fit.

We plan the way we want to live, but only God makes us able to live it. - Proverbs 16:9

Yielding to Jesus will break every kind of slavery in any person's life. He is the God of limitless resources - the only limit comes from us. The problem regarding the believer's life is we want to do something to be believers, instead of allowing Him to work in us.

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. - Joseph Campbell

We cannot be guided unless we are prepared to walk! We need to get out there and take some leaps of faith, trust that God will provide the correct outcome and live our lives without fear. When we live with "God-confidence", we will find that He will do something far better than we could have imagined.

God uses the ordinary and the small so that His incredible greatness will shine through...not ours.

We never know how God is going to use us until we let Him, but I promise God's glass slipper ALWAYS fits.

From The Pit To The Palace

God wants us to search for the diamonds in our situation, even if it's in a sewer. Seeing the good in our situation and giving thanks to God is what He wants to hear form us.

Hope means "to expect something good to happen".

I've made up my mind that I won't let my no's keep me from trusting for my yes. That is my plan— trust and obey no matter what it looks like or how it feels.

The longer we have to wait, the better the answer will be. Zachariah and Elizabeth had no idea that their prayer for a child as a young married couple started a chain reaction of events that would change the world. And so if we've been praying for something and God seems silent, just remember our role models, Zachariah and Elizabeth.

Our waiting requires expectancy.

During my health journey, it took a little over a year but God did answer with yes- and when He did, it was more amazing than anything I had hoped for. I went from the pit to the palace.

Our "yes" also contains a greater purpose. It’s our job to find out what that is. Ask God for wisdom with what to do with your yes— for how to manage it and maintain it and multiply it. God’s yes is an investment into your life. He wants to see a return (Matthew 25:14-30).

Remember, it’s not all about you. God’s yes in your life isn’t only for you. It involves you, it blesses you, it helps you, it positions you, it empowers you, but it’s not just for you.

God blesses us daily and He expects us to share those blessings with others.

God started healing my body from mercury poisoning with Whole Body Vibration and He wants me to share my blessings with others. My husband and I have prayed diligently over how God wants us to multiply our blessings. We're opening Circulation Nation, A Whole Body Vibration Studio in Simpsonville, SC in a few weeks. We are so very excited! We can't wait to see how He is going to work in someone's else's pit and redeem their health issues. GOD IS SO GOOD!

When you pray to be used by God, you better believe He will use you. ✞

I am so humbled to be part of his story.

Spiritual Cheerleaders

Our problems rise up in our lives and we see no way around the sickness, debt, or family problems that we face daily. We become so blinded by our discouragement we don't see the hand of God leading us, because we only see our troubles, growing to gigantic proportions in our small lives.

God shows up in the dark times just as He is present in the light, but sometimes we hesitate to expose our challenges and struggles for fear of embarrassment or rejection. I try to avoid building those walls because I want people to know God's grace in their own lives and those are the momonets we need it most!

As God’s people live out their faith in this world, they need advice, challenge, and encouragement to persevere. Sometimes we need a reminder that we can be “spiritual cheerleaders” for other believers. And being kind to others and keeping them encouraged can, in turn, keep us going. Selfless acts of kindness can go a long way and they can make us learn new things about ourselves too! :)

It is so easy to sit like a lump when we need encouragement, but when we get up and look to encouraging others we can shake the cloud over us! It is always encouraging when we follow God and seek to encourage others! God's way is AWESOME! Step out and do something radical for Jesus. I guarantee He will help you with the details. What we think is a small step of faith, could end up being an opportunity for life change - for us, or possibly for someone we touch. We just have to say yes, and leave the rest to God.

I want to encourage those who are waiting on God. I know first hand, waiting on our Lord and Savior can seem like forever! We may spend years wandering in the wilderness, without any specific direction in our lives. Today I want to encourage you to claim God's promises in your life. The Lord is always with you and no matter what kind of problem you are having, you are not the only one to go through that storm.

The best way I have found to get over feeling sorry for myself, is to help someone else. It is easy to be a Christian example of love, joy, and peace when everything is going well.  But when we can bear the fruit of the Spirit, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith (Galatians 5:22) in the midst of storms, that's when people know our faith is real. Keep on trusting in the Lord day by day. You may not be aware of it, but there are people watching you. Your strength in the Lord can be an encouragement to them. When God doesn't give you a miracle, maybe you're the miracle God has for someone else. The blind man was born blind so the power of God could be seen in him. His disability has been used to to reveal God's power.

God's love gives us power and strength to conquer those things that stand against us. God does and can use all circumstances in our lives for His glory. Most of all, He does His best work in the messiest situations.

God has definitely used my health situation to reveal His power. He has redeemed my situation by healing me of mercury poisoning. And he has used the source of healing, Whole Body Vibration, to open other doors in our lives. God has shown His love to me over and over again. He gives me strength step by step. He protects me moment by moment. He provides my needs day by day. What a wonderful Savior we serve!

Friends, Life is not about losing, life is about overcoming! So get out there and be a spiritual cheerleader and encourage others to keep fighting the good fight.

Dalinda

Great Faith

Faith, as the Bible defines it, is present-tense action. Faith means being sure of what we hope for...now. It means knowing something is real, this moment, all around you, even when you don't see it. Great faith isn't the ability to believe long and far into the misty future. It's simply taking God at His word and taking the next step. - Joni Eareckson Tada

If you have a special need today, focus your full attention on the goodness and greatness of your Father rather than on the size of your need. Your need is so small compared to His ability to meet it. God always replenishes and regenerates what is used for His glory.

The greatest miracle isn't the work you've waited for God to perform, but the work He's done in you during the wait.

Fleeting Moments, Precious Moments

Have you ever heard another mom say how happy they are that their children are starting back to school, because their children have worn them out? I have to admit I have said this statement before. It should make us sad when we hear these comments. I understand that children can be difficult, that they can get on our nerves at times. Really, I do understand! But....can't we all be difficult at times? These things are not just limited to children.

Even though I get weary at times, I love being with my boys! It is one of my favorite places to be. I enjoy their company, their smiles, their laughter. I am so thankful for the family God chose to bless me with.

Jake, my oldest son, is 14 years old and just started high school. Drew, my youngest son, is 9 years old and just started 4th grade. It seems like just yesterday I brought them home from the hospital. My, my, my how time flies! I'm so glad to share these fleeting, precious moments with them, and I look forward to seeing the people God is shaping them to be.

Momentary Character-Building Troubles

I don't understand why people think they have to live up to the world's standards. "To often we try to win allies to our point of view rather than pointing them to Jesus." - Carl Medearis, Speaking of Jesus.

Be an imitator of Christ in what seems like a Godless place. Stick with what you believe and stick with God even if you are the only one.

God's instructions, His boundaries, aren't cruel barriers to keep us from freedom. They are protective restrictions meant to define where safe freedom can be found.

Gospel freedom is not the right to do as we please, but the power to do what is right.

God isn't interested in us being famous in the world's eye, but in us being faithful in His eye's . - Ken Crockett

The right goal in life is to love God with all our hearts and seek to please Him in all that we do. "We have as our ambition....to be be pleasing to Him" (2 Cor 5:9). So if you've been running in the wrong direction, don't get upset if someone on your team tackles you. They're just trying to keep you from making a big mistake.

God promises that our momentary character-building troubles are also building something much bigger - an eternal glory that outweighs them all.

Lifetime Learners

Tonight I took my oldest son to his 9th grade orientation. He is staring a new phase in his life..."the high school years." As "freshman", they see this label as still having a long way to go, instead of seeing how far they've come.

As we were walking through the long halls, it took me back to the days when I was in high school and all I have learned along the way. As we were walking around in circles looking for his classrooms, I realized we have the opportunity to be "lifetime learners". I want to learn something everyday of my life.

Our walk with God is a continual journey. The Holy Spirit has something to teach us today and every day. We are learning and growing in Christ all the time. We need to focus on how far we've come, not just how far we still have to go.

Supernatural Lessons Through The Natural

God’s strength is enough. But I had to get to the end of mine to learn that. Often the thing that God lays out for us to do is bigger than we are. I love that God teaches me supernatural lessons through the natural.

Our weakness reveals God's strength. God allows us to encounter situations that eat away at our strength and confidence in self to expose our need for Him. The revelation of total weakness is a powerful place. It is where God meets His People. God chooses those who are inadequate in and of themselves so that the ultimate glory goes to Him. You see, when we serve out of our weakness and God's strength, it is obvious to everyone that the power of the Holy Spirit and not the strength or wisdom of man has accomplished great things.

Strength of character is more important than a strong body. Human strength relies on what we see, say and do in the midst of crisis or need. However, strength of character and faith requires dependence on what we know to be true but have not seen or experienced in the natural.

Without faith demonstrated by total dependency on God – there is no strength. Without the Power of God – there is no victory. Winning or losing is dependent on strength and endurance – all of which come from God for His People who have yielded their heart and life to the Lord.

Faith enables people to be people and it lets God be God. Acknowledge that you can't do it, but God can.

With God, We Are Limitless

Just when we think we understand how He will solve a problem, He takes a different route all together. Our lives are very mysterious, but blessed are those who trust when we cannot understand.

I'll be honest with you, when all my mysterious health issues began I allowed the devil to influence my thoughts. I convinced myself that I was dying at the age of forty one. Eleven months passed with no answers to my question..."What is this terrible thing I have? It has to have a name!" But then I had an A-ha moment! I realized that I had been focusing on what I COULDN'T do instead of what God COULD do. This A-ha moment not only changed how I approached my recovery, but also my life.

Everyday forces us to get uncomfortable, to seek God, and to do the very best we can. Some days we screw up. Some days we knock it out of the ball park. But if we never were in over our head, if we were never forced to get uncomfortable,  We'd never grow. Our potential would never be reached. It's in those times of tough, hard nosed, in over our head times that we're prepared for our destiny....that we're prepared for the God sized calling in our lives.

The places where we're darkest and weakest are the greatest opportunities to be glorified through repentance, transformation, and healing. With Him we will accomplish great things that seem impossible, because we know that He turns impossibilities into realities!

I am in compete awe of how God redeemed my health situation. He is not only healing me through Whole Body Vibration, but He has called my husband and I to start our own Whole Body Vibration Studio. Wow! So many times the trials of life can cloud our perspective and the way we see things. What we call life is a journey to death. What we call death is the gateway to life.

He knows our heart's desires and He longs to bless us.

am so blessed! I get to work beside my best friend/husband everyday. I have always had a passion for helping others and a passion for health and wellness. As I recognize God's hand in the details, I am also learning that God's story doesn't revolve around me and having my journey unfold smoothly, but that I am privileged to play some part in God's greater plan. If I will be patient, I will discern just how the details fit at just the right time.

He knows the desire of our heart. God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and a lot of faith. But it's always worth the wait!

We need to learn to love ourselves like God loves us and accept that what we cannot do does not limit us, it defines us. You see, life's span and troubles refine us into exactly who God wants us to be. With God by our side and in our heart, we are limitless!

Learning To Think Like God Thinks

There is enormous positive power in adversity, but do we live like we believe that is true?

God will use any negative circumstance to refine our spiritual mind, prove His merciful power and teach us to further trust Him.

Problems always loom large. When we are sunk down in the middle of a challenging situation, these circumstances are all that we can see. God is much greater than our difficulty, but our view of Him seems cut off. We tend to have greater faith in our problems than we do in God. It's a matter of faith. A pile of problems are on one side of the scale; Heaven's glory, the other. If the problem-side of the scale seems heavy, then focus your faith on the glory-side.

Our focus creates our feeling.

It's not whether God is loving versus sovereign, it's that we humans have a very limited view of what is good and bad. We equate what is good with what is convenient and immediately beneficial to us, and "bad" is what is disadvantageous and injurious to us. What if God views only what is done for His glory as good, and whatever is NOT done for His glory as bad? Looking at it this way, the events in our lives then are completely inconsequential. What is truly good or truly bad in God's sight has absolutely nothing to do with us FEELING good or bad about any given circumstance. God rules our lives, not our our emotions.

We need to filter our feelings through God's promises, not our perceptions.

When our interpretations change, our emotions change.

We, with our limited vision and perspective, only come to the realization after the fact. But we are called to live by faith, not by sight.

Can we believe that Jesus' horrific death on the cross was God's SPECIFIC plan, and yet refuse to believe that all the tragic events since then somehow weren't? Christ's death was the ULTIMATE tragedy! How could God see anything as being worse ~ or even anywhere close to as bad ~ as having to sacrifice His own Son to reconcile sinners to Himself? SINNERS! And yet Christ's death, as physically and spiritually horrifying as it was, was ultimately a thing of unimaginable, incomprehensible beauty. ✞ ✞ ✞

So how can we see our earthly sorrows as being APART from God's specific plan if the worst thing that ever happened wasn't?

Faith is all about trusting God when you don't understand.

I AM weak. Weakness is natural to human life. We all become tired, grow weary, feel weak at some points in our lives (or several times each day!) Weakness remains a part of this flesh we inhabit. Strength ~ more than just the physical meaning ~ is a characteristic of God. God uses whatever we have and whatever we are, for His good purposes. But, admitting our weakness reveals vulnerability. Vulnerable to needing Him. And I ( maybe others, too) forget we always need Him.

God promises us the strength we need (not necessarily the same as what we think we want) to live out His call for our lives. Our weakness given to Him with trust, uncovers grace-filled love.

He is a God of possibility, not negativity.

Dalinda

Expect The Unexpected

When it comes to the seasons of the year we know exactly what to expect, however, when it comes to the seasons of life we aren’t always as prepared. In fact, the only promises we are given in these changing seasons are “expect the unexpected.”

Don't have expectations!...God is coming in unlooked for ways.

Sometimes the journey to God begins through an unlikely source. God's power is manifested in the lowly, humble, and hungry.

We serve a God who came to earth as an infant, who chose a woman to bear him. We serve a God who rode into Jerusalem on the donkey—not a stallion. We serve a God who washed the feet of the very man who would betray him.

God reminds me to place my expectations at His feet! Why? Because God never disappoints!

Nothing gets slipped past our Father. He leaves no stone unturned, no need unfulfilled. And it’s when we learn this simple truth of our Father’s love that we let God out of our box. It’s here that we take the limits off His grace and here that He is given free rein to rock our world in ways we can yet to imagine.

Dalinda

Sometimes God Has To Topple Us Before He Can Bless Us

When God closes a door, He opens a window. We can jump or be pushed; but out we will go. Could it be God calling us out of our hiding place?

When God says "no" in one area, He's saying a much louder "yes" in another.

We tend to have greater faith in our problems than we do in God.

Sometimes God's will can feel like a chore. There will be things God asks us to do that are uncomfortable. And we will have to choose: stretch ourselves, be willing to leave the coziness of our contentment and trust Him with the details or stay where we are and refuse to accommodate His greater plan because we're too lazy and self-absorbed to realize that it's not at all about us.

We are to be diligent and faithful in what is right in front of us. Because God-sized dreams are not about us, they are about the dream-giver. - Holley Gerth

When things don't follow our timetable or God doesn't "perform" the way we think He should....instead of getting mad at God, shutting down, or walking away....We need to hold onto Him even tighter.

God doesn't want us to try to anticipate His next move. No matter how hard we try, we can't figure Him out.

Operating in the flow of God's power is so much better than working against it. - Lysa TerKeurst

Sometimes we stare so long at a door that is closing that we see too late the one that was open. Personally, I don't want to "look back" because God is calling me to "come on."

As Jody and I are preparing to open our own Whole Body Vibration Studio, our prayer is that we humble ourselves so that others may know the goodness of God. Our lives are living letters written so that God might be glorified. Suffering is trying and difficult to bear, but hiding just below its surface is discipline, knowledge, and limitless possibilities. Each of these not only strengthens and matures us but also equips us to help others. The lives that have been the greatest blessing to us are the lives of those people who themselves were unaware of having been a blessing. May we be humble servants of a most Holy God. ✞

God's power is manifested in the lowly, humble and hungry. He comes to exalt those that are weak. Joy sometimes needs pain to give it birth. I believe God uses trials to bless us. The thing I've found after each "dead end" was the next thing was better than the one before. I believe every trail that comes along is going to work out for my good. I am reminded that we serve a powerful God who still works miracles in the lives of everyday people. Our greatest weakness is God's greatest platform. Because it's not about making us famous, it's about making Him famous.

Dalinda

Leaving It In His Hands

Life is not easy. Troubles can come out of no where and the wind can get knocked out of our sails faster than we ever thought possible. When the waves are rough we can worry and try to do things on our own, or we can choose to trust Him and walk with Him moment by moment.

We all go through trials of one kind or another, we all have a different story to tell, each one filled with sorrows and triumphs alike. How we get through them depends on one thing.....our willingness to give it all up to the Lord and leave it in His hands.

Leaving it in His hands is the hardest part for me. Sometimes, this act of surrendering needs to happen day by day, hour by hour, or moment by moment. But when it's done, there is so much peace to be found in His presence because we're resting at the center of His will.

God has a burning desire for us to be completely dependent on Him.  He longs to be our Source, our Friend, our Strength, our Ever Present Help in time of trouble . . .  the One we turn to first in every situation

Dalinda

If We Show God How Big Our Brave Is, He'll Show Us How Big Our God Is

Confidence is holding on to a strong faith in God, a faith that is backed up with a complete knowledge and understanding that with God's help we can do anything.

The message He places on our heart is bigger than us. It’s bigger than all our self doubts and inadequacies. When we start doubting that we have permission to speak up it’s because we've taken our eyes and our hearts off the One we're called to serve and we're shifting the focus onto us instead.

Fear brings a lack of confidence in God and in us. God calls us not to settle for "average" or getting by". We may have some limitations, but we can be extraordinary if we decide to be. God always does His part, making seemingly impossible things possible!

Jody and I are so excited because we are stepping out and trying new things!  We are taking a huge leap of faith by venturing out of our comfort zone to opening our own Health and Wellness Studio featuring Whole Body Vibration. And we're not holding anything back, we're giving God everything!

God is helping us discover our role of service to Him, the work He has called us to do. Our studio is not only a Health and Wellness Studio, but it is a ministry to help others.

God has given each of us "a measure of faith." For whatever we need to do, we have the faith to do it; but for faith to work, we have to release our faith, and the way we release it is to go in obedience. We have to go with our dreams despite all the "what ifs" and the doubts from the enemy. When we make our step, God shows up. ✞

Dalinda

God Will Determine Our Steps But Sometimes He Tweaks How We Get There

God doesn't always reveal our purpose in a straight line, but He gives us bits and pieces along the way.

When God is revealing bits and pieces of your purpose through the seasons of your life, remember that even if He has told you how you will ultimately serve Him, it doesn’t mean that the fulfillment of your purpose will happen in a straight line. Instead, you might feel like you are going in loop-de-loops and circles, like you are wandering. This is OK. God won’t waste any of your experiences. And even if some of your “circles” seem unrelated to God’s calling, He will weave them in to His purpose for your life. Rest assured, He is still in control and will perfect that which concerns you (Psalm 138:8).

God WILL determine our steps. Whether we ask Him to or not. He loves us and wants what’s best for us. I’d much rather work with Him than against Him along the way! I’d much rather learn the easy way than the hard way about just what it is and where it is that He desires to take me. That being said, remember that God knows your heart. He often will use and direct you to things in which you are gifted at or where your natural personality leans. He just may “tweak” how you get there!

God is the ultimate superhero! The road to your promised land may be bumpy, but it is worth every mile if you're riding on the cape of your superhero.

Dalinda

Labels Become Still Life Pictures That Never Change

Labels do nothing more than describe a static moment in someones life.  And they leave no room for the dynamic possibility of redemption, or hope, or change. We marginalize people by the way they live, by how much money they make, the music they listen to, their religion, and their skin color.  We have become far too comfortable accepting the unacceptable and viewing the world, our lives and ourselves in a defeatist way that directly competes with the passionate, joy-filled, and faith-driven people God desires us to be.
So how is telling people they’re going to hell, putting people down, emphasizing someone else’s sin while minimizing our own, and telling others that God's grace covers me but not you - helping people find Jesus?
Here's the truth: We have all lived a lifestyle of sin; we are all born sinners....We all need Jesus!

Man's Adversity Is God's Opportunity

How many times in our lives have we resisted the Lord's guidance. We tend to rely more on our Global Positioning System (GPS) rather than our Heavenly GPS, don't we? But I have found when I remember to tune into the Lord and set my life on His cruise control, everything falls perfectly into place - for God's pace is steady and His road is straight.

Only when we are totally dependent on our Redeemer are we truly free!

Going throughout the motions of religion won't ever satisfy. It's only when we bend down low, open our heart in complete surrender, and say "Jesus, it's You. Only You. There is no other possession or person or position that can ever fill the deep soul place shaped only for You."

As He calls us on a path to bare ourselves and share the truth of life, we must remember that "we have nothing to prove or protect." We can admit we are "weak and needy and restless". Man's adversity is God's opportunity. God delights in using His people - right in the middle of all that appears crazy and wrong and hopeless. But He won't give you the genuine until you surrender the imitations.

God has changed my perspective on my life....It's not my life, it's His. When we let Him in, He'll change our lives forever.

Our time in the desert is both necessary and ordained by God for it prepares us for His vision. The process is so painful, but the result is pure gold. The testing of our faith transforms us into a servant worthy of big dreams with bold outcomes.

Let's take some leaps of faith and trust that God will provide the correct outcome and live our lives without fear.

If we define success as seeking God first, we will never be failures.

Blessings,
Dalinda

Mercifully Loved

Our big God blesses our small faith. We are mercifully loved!

Striving to be perfect is not God's command for us (thank you Jesus).

God's truth never wavers. Our convictions tend to change. Good to know God's don't.

God exists to showcase God. We exist to have a personal relationship with God so we can go to Heaven and take others with us. Our message, our salvation, our body, our struggles, our success - all proclaim God's glory.

Salvation glorifies the Savior, not the saved. Our salvation showcases God's mercy. It makes nothing of our effort but everything of His.

So often, we are looking for ideal environments before we serve. But remember, David was in a cave....What a great reminder that God can and will use us anywhere and anytime. What we might perceive as an inconvience; He perceives as an opportunity. As Heaven's advertising agency, we promote God in every area of life. We're important, but not essential; valuable, but not indispensable. We have a part in the play, but we aren't the main act.

Life makes sense when we accept our place. We can't be the best without the best, and the best is JESUS! .... The gift of pleasures, the purpose of problems, - all for Him. The God-centered life works. And it rescues us from a life that doesn't.

We were created to reveal glory - just not our own.

Fear Cripples

Satan and his minions would like nothing better than for us to miss God's blessings and he won't let one victory go unchallenged.

Fear is camouflaged in an evil spirit, and it operates out of the mind of a person. Fear cripples. Fear stops a person from enjoying his or her blessings. But God has equipped us with everything we need to fight....so let's fight!

God hates it when we pass up on the real life and settle for the false promises of this world. The lie of the serpent broke the trust that Eve had placed in her Creator. She replaced her trust in God for a desire. She desired the creation more than the Creator. Once we trust The Lord to the point of being free from the desire, The Lord might just give it back to us. He does this to show us that it isn't the thing that is evil; it's the lack of trust in our heart that is evil.

All God is looking for is a sincere heart that chooses to love Him more than self.

We need to CHOOSE to open our hands to all of His blessings, because y'all know it's always our CHOICE. It's our choice if we will receive what He gives us as blessing, or if we will label it otherwise. I believe God is always good and always perfect regardless of my often times misperceptions. On the days I fail to see His graciousness as a gift it's only my seeing that is distorted, never His love.

We need God. That's it. When we choose to live this truth, everything else falls into place.

I'm only sure of one thing in this broken world....God! As long as I hold tight in my heart the fact that His plans are GOOD, then I can fight through the obstacles life throws at me, to see the light of the reward that will greet me in the end.

I'm not capable, but God's spirit in me is very capable.

The beauty of Jesus is that He never asks us to figure all of life out. He simply says follow Him. Follow Him in this minute and the next and the next .... so step by imperfect step, I do.
